Excellent, thank you.

Well...

I put in [[Category:Declaration of Independence]], the latter part is in RED, not already set? or what?

What do I use to designate a signer....?

You will probably have to use "American Founding Fathers" and leave a message for Chris on the page for "Declaration of Independence" he can put a link on that page for your ancestor. Other option is to create a new category. The one on the page we were talking about is not a category but a free space page. If you wish to make a new category just click on the red link and the top line would be

[[Category:American Founding Fathers]]
Got it, thanks. I guess he's not an ancestor, but my wanderings encountered him.

The category has been set up

Category: Signers of the United States Declaration of Independence

it has been added to Paine's profile
by Philip Smith G2G6 Pilot (340k points)

Thanks, Philip!  This is a subcategory of American Founding Fathers and is part of the 1776 Project. I hope that all interested will join us as we remember those who made history in the years 1773 to 1789.
