Who married John Gregg, b. 1783 NC, died about 1867 MO or KS?

Question

Someone added the name Boothe to my 4 great grandmother, Elizabeth, (Boothe-265) wife of John Gregg (Gregg-698), but failed to also add a Source.  Then, the parents for Elizabeth Boothe (Boothe-265) were added, supposed to be Daniel Boothe Jr. and wife Priscilla Tapley.  In James William Dupree's book, "Booth Genealogy: Descendants of Daniel Booth Sr. of Daniel Booth, Sr. (abt 1710-1749) and Ruth May : with numerous allied family lines, Americus, GA, 2001, Family History Library; http://www.familysearch.org/  on page 417, says this particular Elizabeth Boothe married John Ludlow Stone.  No dates are given, but one daughter's birth was 1825.  Does anyone know of a marriage for John Gregg and an Elizabeth Boothe in Randolph County, NC or vicinity?  Or John Gregg and any Elizabeth in territorial Ohio records, about 1800?  This John Gregg lived in Ross County, Ohio until 1840, then moved to then-Van Buren, later-Cass County, MO.  He died in Missouri or Kansas, probably during the Civil War.

Hi Margaret, it appears the other comment disappeared. I was not suggesting using those as categories or adding them to the body of your post. I apologize that I was not more clear. What I meant were the tags on this post, like you have this post tagged with the surname boothe. You can edit and add more tags. Just click the space bar after each of the tags and, the space will create separate tags. For tags that have more than one word, you use the underscore to hold them together like north_carolina. Those tags on a G2G post will be picked up in the activity feed.  The Projects and members following those tags on their profiles will get notifications. It brings it to more people's attention.

Laura, I got sidetracked and failed to thank you for explaining what you meant on tags.  I am a good researcher, but use several genealogy sites, and get lost on what to do where.  Thank you for making this clear.
