too-long subject:

did Carol Louise Ankerman, born 1571 in Scotland, exist? (Said to have married the mythical Thomas Henderson of Jamestown)

Thomas Henderson of Jamestown is on the path to becoming a Disproven Existence person. Should his wife go with him, or is she a real person?

A highly improbable name for the 16th century. Are there any other Carols in this period and area? Or women with a middle name at all?
Birth records don't even exist for Alloa before 1609, so I have a hard time believing that there exists any record of this alleged person's existence, let alone an exact birth date.
Thanks E!

Thanks Sheena! I think that pretty well covers it - she's a myth too.
