Historically Significant Ancestors - Isabella Warner

+5 votes
Although many sources show the wife of John Lewis to be Isabella Warner, daughter of Augustine Warner and Mary Townley, it does not appear that Augustine Warner had a daughter Isabella.  Jown Lewis married Isabella Miller, daughter of James Miller.

I went ahead and changed her parents to James Miller and Mary Unknown and proposed a merge with Isabella Miller (Miller-2151), but then I realized that she is an Historically Significant Ancestor and that I need to consult with others about these changes.

How does one consult and get approval?

I went ahead and cleared the lock on that profile so the HSA is gone.  This does bring up some interesting issues as we work through merging profiles.  We should always try normal means to get merges completed.  In other words propose to the profile owners to complete the merges.  If after a reasonable amount of time we get no response and we start to conduct the merges ourselves. As Arborists we will aways work our way up from the ancestors in question to avoid creating orphans.  It's tough sometimes because some owners never respond to the merge requests yet complain after the fact.
