am trying to find James Nicol who married Christian ?

Scotland:  1734

James Nicol & Christian had a son b. in 1737 in Carmylie, Scotland called Griffin Nicol who had the following children with Matilda (Meatie) Carrie.  Margaret b.1765  Isabelle b. 1767,  David b. 1769, James b. 1772,Mary b.1773 and Helen b.1775. Now not sure if Meatie lived to have all these children but its the info I have

Does anyone doing the Nicol/Nicoll/Nichol/Nickle family have any mention of these people?

A marriage record has a variant spelling of the grooms first name and the brides last name.

I realized this but it is info given to me years ago.  At the time thought going back any further would be pointless but now trying to ascertain when his father John Nicol was  borne.  Have no idea what the correct spelling of Carrie/Cairie/Karey should be but am looking for her parents a James and Katharine Carrie/Cairie,Karey

Someone on here did send me further information and will need to thank him as it looks like the recent efforts by Scotland People to get more church information on Scotland was successful.   

Thank you so much.  This family or at least he spelled his name as Griffin but know it should be Griffith as some of his grandchildren have that in their name.  However, the last name was Nicol , and NOT NICOLL nor Nichol or at least that was how they spelled it.  It became Nicoll sometime later for some in the family according to birth records.
