Proper place to list Adoptive Parents (Who actually raised individual and changed his name) [closed]

I have an individual that was either adopted prior to birth (29 May 1927) or as his adoption was finalized (i'm guessing), his birthday changed to 22 May 1928 (information came from same source).  His former name was Weldon McCloudless, born to Alice Lee McCloudless.  He was raised by Zelma Florence Eichinger and Leroy Clevenger, whom were married.  My question is do I leave him as George Lee Clevenger (as currently listed) and list the couple that raised him as his parents or do I list him as Weldon McCloudless and list his mother as Alice.

Currently, I have listed in his biography that his former name was Weldon McCloudless and he was born to Alice as well as that the couple that raised him (Zelma & Leroy) with his name changed.  I have yet to actually create profiles for Zelma & Leroy or Alice (will do so upon answering of question).  Only Birth City given in information is Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas.

If you go back to your question and add the tag "adoption angels" you will draw attention to the question.

Also, on the top left of this page is a "Search G2G" box, search adoptions, I am sure you will find an answer in old question.
All records that I have found regarding him, from; Find A; TX Birth & Death Certificates; TX Birth and Death Indexes; etc. only list him as George Lee Clevenger.   Nothing even indicates Adoption or his former name of Weldon McCloudless, nor his biological mother, Alice Lee McCloudless.

This is how names are used or can be used:

Proper first name- given at birth/ legal name

Preferred name- name at death?/ most commonly used

Other nicknames- new name?

Middle name- also can be used for extra last name

Last name at birth- given at birth/ legal name at time of adoption

Current last name- last name used at death/ most commonly used name

Other last names- new last name?

The adoptive family is listed in biographies using links.

There’s also a template that designates the profile as adoptee and specifies each parental unit:
