Keep getting Invalid data, Invalid ID, Invalid Wiki Tree

Question

Need help. Can not pass check with new profile. Few of them are acceptable.  I think the issue is Invalid Characters.  I have rewritten without success.

Please see if you can identify the problem(s).  Want to link Arthur Lee Dudley 5143 with his father Henry (Harry) Dudley 4476.    Have deleted, rearranged, and  viewed without success. Would like to be continuing with other aspects of genealogy instead of spending all my time on this problem..

The father’s profile is open. You should be able to open the edit mode from the link at the tab at the top of the profile. Then go to the right right of the screen, and scroll down to add/remove child, click it, and on the next screen enter the profile id in the box located near the top of the page. Press Go.

Be sure the Id has the hyphen.

Based on the way the question is worded, I'm pretty sure George hit the nail on the head - the problem is that a WikiTree ID consists of the LNAB (that's Last Name At Birth) followed by a hyphen, followed by the number that was automatically assigned by the system when the profile was created.  For example:

What you identified as Arthur Lee Dudley 5143 is not a WikiTree ID.  The WikiTree ID for that profile would be Dudley-5143.
