I'm going to try using Personal Categories....

Question

I plan to have a go at using Personal Categories.  I'm sure I will learn along the way how not to use them properly and effectively.  Can unwanted Personal Categories be easily deleted by their creator/owner?

Personal categories operate the same as general categories.

If you need to delete a personal category, just follow the instructions in this Help page section:

Help:Category Creation and Removal#How to Delete, Rename, or Merge a Category .

And remember to start every personal category you create with your WikiTreeID:

Help:Personal Categories .

As Lindy said, they are simple to delete when you have finished using them or if you find you don't need them any longer. Just remove content from the page and add

{{Delete Category}}

You can add a short explanation, just so we know that it was an intentional deletion.
