Does anyone have information on the father of Ben Goodnight of Gordon County, or Sonora, Georgia?

I am looking for information on my Great-grandfather. My Grandfather was Ben Goodnight, of Gordon County, or Sonora Georgia. His Mother was Nancy, but I have no maiden name. Ben had a sister, Allice, as well as a sister-in-law, Alice. This is as far as I have ever been able to trace this part of my family tree, though there are numerous Goodnight families in this area.
