What goes in the "Location" and "When" fields when uploading / creating a source for a family bible?

Is it the current location of the bible, for example Calgary, or the location where the bible was presented to the first member of our family, Quebec, or something else?

Similar question about the "When" field?  Doesn't seem like this should be today's date.  Its unclear if it should be the date the bible was published, the date it was first came into possession of a family member?

You could also use the dates covered in the bible. It is also okay to just leave out the dates and location or use an approximation. The information is the main thing.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Greg. Welcome to G2G!

Your first photo is of a dedication page that was written on a single date, 3 October 1857, so you could use that date in that case. Similarly, the page speaks of a "Société biblique de St. Jean et de Christinville(?)", which might give a location if you can work out where it is.

The other photos range over many years, so choosing "date not applicable" as you have done seems correct. The fourth photo has locations for some events, mainly in Scotland, but others don't have locations, so again "location not applicable" may be best.
