Who are the actual parents of John Adam Miller Sr.?

Question

I am currently researching the parents of John Adam Miller Sr. born in 1769 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg, South Carolina. He died on 5 January 1818 in Franklin Co., Georgia.

It was determined by genealogist, Charles C. Miller (deceased), that James Miller and Mary Neely were not the parents.

Any help in finding this set of parents would be greatly appreciated. The profile for John Adam Miller is in my tree.

I'm not finding an American birth record. If the letter is accurate & he immigrated to the US, have you checked immigration records?

I received a copy of this letter from a deceased cousin, Albert Deadwyler O'Rear and originally shared it. Mr. O'Rear was a descendant of Cynthia Miller Carson, daughter of John Adam Miller and Seleter/Seleta Barnett Miller and the letter was written by George L Carson, son of Cynthia Miller Carson and grandson of John Adam Miller.
