APID in Source Info from GEDCOM

I am cleaning up the a biography and have come across the term "APID" on some GEDCOM information. Sometimes is contains a number and sometimes it is blank. I haven't stripped it out because I didn't know what it meant. Is it a meaningful thing to leave in the reference?

Hi Vic,
Those are internal reference numbers left over from the exporting system. Go ahead and delete.
Cheers,
Chris
