Can someone with authority please change her maiden name to Unknown. There is no credible proof of her my name. Thanks.

Her maiden name should be changed to Unknown. There is no credible proof of being a Postlethwait. The names Ann, Joseph and Dobson are all common names. Additionally, there are three different marriage records from different places in England and different years between an Ann Postlethwait and a Joseph Dobson. These cannot all be the same people.

To my knowledge, only the profile manager can change the LNAB - though maybe trusted list members are able to as well. You should contact the manager of the profile before anything else.

I have. He hasn't been on WikiTree for quite a while.
Then your next step would be to submit an unresponsive profile manager form

Anyone on the Trusted List can change the last name at birth.

Before going the unresponsive route, try requesting access.

Thanks Melanie,

I didn't realize the trusted list members can change the LNAB. But if the profile manager isn't active on wikitree, requesting trusted list access won't work either.
Very true!
Perhaps, perhaps not.  There have been times when an apparently inactive PM has responded to TL requests.  Contacting the PM x number of times is part of the Unresponsive process, anyway, so what is lost in trying?
