Yesterday I received some photographs of a family Bible owned by my wife's ancestors. The Bible is 222 years old and has (along with the ancestry stuff) some newspaper clippings for people whose relationship to my wife's family is a mystery to me.
They may, however, provide useful genealogical information to other researchers. So, I'm going to provide the names in the clippings so others can request that specific photo if it might be useful to you. I assume these clippings are from Raleigh, NC newspapers unless the source is identified. You may be able to cross-reference these on Newspapers.com

Married in Brunswick County, John F. May Esq of this town to Miss Peggy Field. (This is above a notice of a relative's death. The relative lived in Chesterfield, VA, so this is likely a VA paper.
