According to a family tree wife Naomi died 1965.

1. death certificate for John Thomas has mother's maiden name OWENS

2. 1880 census for him as son of Robert - Robert's wife is Pollyanna

3. Pherby - I found a Ferby Hill, born 1876, daughter of David Hill and Martha Mizzell in 1880 census. David and Martha didn't write wills, so census is the only document for this Ferby
