I don't thinlk I can be of much help as the 2 Harrison Poseys in my family tree were born before 1780.  The Poseys in my family were from Orangeburg and Abbeville, South Carolina, and emigrated to Alabama inn 1830s; For what it may be worth:

John Posey and Martha Price Harrison were parents of Harrison Posey (1740s but no other data), and other sons including Hezekiah Posey (1751-1847), He was the father of Joseph Harrison Posey, my 4th great-grandfather.

Harrison is named in the will of Robert Vernon Posey, died 1849 in Abbeville County SC. and in the will of his mother Marsha, died 1852. Marsha named in will of Henley Maddox, died 1806. Henley's wife was Jennet, named in the will of Ignatius Luckett, died 1783. SAR has Henley's father as Benjamin Maddox. SAR for Robert Vernon Posey has father as Benjamin Vernon Posey. Benjamin's wife was Mary Musgrove. Henley's mother was Elizabeth MacKenzie
