Looking for John Parsons - 10927. I have been unable to find his birth or entry to Australia please.

Question

Sons birth certificate in 1877 indicates born Dorsetshire England and aged 45. Further information on this certificate leads me to believe that he was previously married and already had 2 children (Sarah 21 and George 18). He came to Australia at some time between approx 1832 and 1876, but I do not know how, when, or if his first wife and children came as well

Marriage certificate shows married in Sth Aust 1876 to Sarah McGee (nee McDonald).

A Transcript of his marriage to Sarah McGee nee McDonald on the 30 Nov 1876, records John as born c1832, Bachelor, son of John Parsons -  married to Sarah McGee nee McDonald, born c1847, widow, daughter of Sandy McDonald

Sarah's marriage to Patrick McGee on the 31 May 1859 at Robe, lists her father as Alexander McDonald, and her year of birth as 1840.

Tasmania to sydney 1871

From Germany - adelaide to sydney 1877
