What happens when the manager is no longer active?

Question

I have requested to have access to a few names and no responce from the manager.

Others have posted PM that they also would like access.

Now I see the message "William Ramage is no longer an active member of WikiTree. Whitten-1 14:25, 6 December 2012 (EST)"

What is one to do now?

Because of not having access, I added a person, so now Realing-12 and Realing-15 are one and the same.

The profiles that were originally assigned to a now-defunct manager usually go up for adoption.  If you look for matches for your Realing-15 or do a specific Match-Merge (Realing-12 and Realing 15), you should be able to adopt the managerless profile and complete the merge yourself.

Thanks Vic. Since I posted this question I noticed that the  "Manager" was no longer active as of 6 Dec 2012. So I have adopted many of the Realing's and will most likely get the rest.
