"A Soldier of the Revolution" a son of Jonathan & Mary (Pierce) Allen

Revolution War Soldier Jacob Allen was born June 13, 1721 in Massachusetts Bay Colony. He married twice a Sarah Lee and a Mary Tarring. He passed away March 23, 1805 in Essex county, Massachusetts. 

Inscription: “Jacob Allen Son of Jonathan and Mary (Pierce) Allen A soldier of the Revolution Born June 13, 1721 – Died Mar 23, 1805 He was on the Lexington alarm roll. Capt. Andrew Master’s Co. and at the alarm signal on April 19, 1775, marched from Manchester to Medford, where, after three days service as a minute man, he was ordered home. On May 8, 1775, he enlisted in Capt. Baker’s Co. and, at the expiration of his term, re-enlisted in Capt. John Row’s Co. in the 27th Reg. He was in Washington’s first army and took part in the Battle of Bunker Hill. Erected by his gr-grandson C.W.G. of Beverly.”

I didn't know what you meant by Arthur - but then I realized he was attached to the profile.  I agree, I would remove him as he was born in Maryland!!!  Thanks for the Star!
