Looking for maiden name of George Ann Rogers born Dec,16 , 1849 , died-may 5,1923. Linden, Ala.

Question

Trying to get around brick wall. Ira Rogers married George Ann ______ ? and had Maggie Rogers-(1873-1903) , also had Mamie Rogers -(1872-1958) . They both married the same man ........at seperate times . The sister married her sister's widow.I know the girls were both born in Marengo County , Alabama. We have a winner  !!!!!! Thank you so much . This is my family , no doubt . Ira is my Great Grandfather . Now I know why I was haveing so much trouble on this . I don't belong to any pay sites so my research range is limited . You made my day Betty . I guess I need to find out when my Rogers dropped the D from Rodgers . I suspected George was Georgia and did try search's that way and found it both ways ,but only did a couple with the Ro"d"gers spelling . Still don't think I would have found it .
