Are there wikitree profiles for the Continental Congress?

Sharon, Have you looked at the 1776 Project?

Under that project is a subproject for Amerian Founding Fathers which includes four groups of signers of the 4 major US Documents. The AFF includes profiles of the members of the different sessions of the Continental Congress, some of whom did not sign the documents.

This is from one of those chain email things, but the info is good. These eight Presidents of the Continental Congress seem to all have profiles, but they are inconsistent, and there is no President category for them.

They were at least as important as some of the more minor US Presidents after 1789, so I think they should have a consistent category, at least.

1. John Hanson
2. Elias Boudinot (1782-83),
3. Thomas Mifflin (1783-84),
4. Richard Henry Lee (1784-85),
5. John Hancock (1785-86),
6. Nathan Gorman (1786-87),
7. Arthur St. Clair (1787-88), and
8. Cyrus Griffin (1788-89),
...all served prior to George Washington ever taking office

Steven, Some treatment should be given to each of the Continental Congress'.

I believe that this Category: Continental Congress (Incomplete) collects them.  Their service was more like presiding officer's rather than as President as we know it today.  They did not have the powers as we think of the President today. The debate then is what is meant by President.
