Cemeterist Project Update

Question

Just a few short days after the call for members to volunteer for the new Cemeterist Project, we are happy to announce that we currently have over 80+ members supporting our cemetery mission across 9 countries!

To highlight some of the work being accomplished by members of the Project (both past and present), this week I would like to feature the work of our very own, Robin (Dodge) Shaules, who is tackling one of the harder cemetery configurations we have seen in a while!

Crescent City Cemetery

Crescent City Cemetery is comprised of four (4) individually named and managed cemeteries that are located on the same property in Del Norte County, California; Masonic Cemetery, IOOF Cemetery, Del Norte County Veteran's Cemetery, and St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.

Thank you, Steve, for this recognition. Though I haven't gotten as far as I would have liked on these cemeteries, I love doing all of it -- the photos, the research, and the building of the profiles here. One of the most interesting parts is that one person may be found in the IOOF, while another family member may be in the Catholic section, while a third member may be in the Veteran's cemetery. It's always interesting, and always fun.
