Mary Power (Dunphy) b. 1839 Ireland perhaps Waterford or Killkenny d. 1899 New York

Mary is my great great great Grandmother that came to NY and married Hugh Dunphy. We believe they must have known one another before departing from Ireland seperately and settling in NY. It has been said Mary brought significant money with her and her family was not pleased with her decision to follow my GGG Grandfather to NY.

I would love to hear more about her.

What I can find on Mary is her parents were named Patrick and Mary. Mary and Hugh had 5 children named Catharine (1865-1916), Wiilam C (1866-1909), Mary (1868-?), Hugh (1869-?) and John (1875-?). Mary may have been born in 1835 and died on 29 Mar 1899.
