I am an African American Descendant.I am working on my family trees in the Tallahatchie County area. Surnames are Amos, Sturdivant,Woodson, Miles,Mitchell,Robinson, and Wallace. Colonel James Monroe Wallace was the father of my great great grandmother Jeannette- also listed as servant.  I am researching his other children, Carry,Elison, Erridonneus, and Burr.

Thank you so much. That's very interesting. I checked 23 and me to see if I was related to anyone with the surname Track just now. Awaiting results for my Ancestry.com DNA profile. In the actual written census I could see the real names. They have her listed as "Revery" but it's really Carry. The boy is Eliot, they have him as Elwin. I can't seem to find out what happened to any of the children besides Jeannette, who is my great great grandmother.
Thank you so much Betty!
Wellsureyabetcha. I'll look for some more of the siblings after lunch. :)
