German Roots - Busch, Hanover, Germany

Question

I have been researching my father's tree, Ralph P. Busch, but comes to a deadend for my 2nd great grandfather. How can I trace back to the German roots overseas?

Henry W. Busch:

Birth 21 Mar 1824 in Hanover, Germany

Death 17 Sep 1857 in Charleston County, South Carolina

 

Lizzie Busch: 

Birth 1822 in Hanover, Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany

Death 02 May 1887 in Charleston County, South Carolina

Try searching for your ancestors at familysearch.org. The LDS Mormons have filmed and indexed a lot of overseas records, and you might br able to locate some of your family that way. Works for me!

Remember to start with known ancestors and work backwards, proving each step with credible sources as you go. :)

It has 21 Mar 1824 as baptism date, not birth date, but looks pretty promising otherwise.
