Ok great. Do you see any other records I should add, I’m looking for anything to add
Eddie you see any good records on the State of Franklin. I believe my grandmother Parker her family was originally from that area , I’m not sure with out mom being around to ask more questions , I do remember, they said she claimed Germany and her family from Franklin, names Parker, Cope, Mathis, Brown that I know of right off, just interested in some deep history on the State Franklin,  no hurry on this just something on my mind.
her father was Abraham Lane, married Delila Williams

she is listed as Phine on Abraham's 1850 census, Blount Tn
Ok I’m looking for him now, Thanks
the "State of Franklin" only existed for about 3 years - a little chunk of land between Jonesborough and Greeneville Tennessee that was then officially in North Carolina. The residents "seceded" from North Carolina over taxation issues in 1785. Franklin was never a state of the USA. In 1789, North Carolina gave the territory to the Federal government, which added it to Tennessee
Ok ok then I guess Franklin, North Carolina, and I believe my great grandfather was a logger before coming to Piedmont, I believe when the moved here he sold his land 10cents an acre so they could move here, 1910’s 1920’s Dee Monroe Parker buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Piedmont, Greenville, SC
