I really don't think you'll find any pictures of him. A painting, maybe, but I haven't been able to locate any.

Nevertheless, here is some information to add to your family history:

Louis Saulnier was born c1663 in Vitre, Bretagne, France, and died Aft. 1730 in Port Royal, Acadia. He married Louise Bastineaux dit Peltier/Pelletier 1684 in Grand Pre, Acadia, Canada. She was born Abt. 1668, and died Abt. 04 Jun 1740.
Marriage: 1684, Grand Pre, Acadia, Canada
Louis Saulnier, a sailor born in France in c1663, came to Acadia by c1684, the year he married Louise Bastineaux dit Peltier/Pelletier at Grand Pré.  Louis died in c1730, in his late 60s, probably at Minas.  He and Louise had 14 children, including five sons, most if not all of them born at Minas, who created families of their own.  Five of their daughters married into the Boudrot, Boisseau dit Blondin, Lapierre, Oudy, and Hébert families.

The 1693 census of Les Mines has him listed as being 30 years old, suggesting he was born around 1663.
