Advice before editing this pre-1700 Duncan profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Thomas Duncan. This is what I can add: Thos. Duncan m. Bridget Tilney, daug. of John Tilney Sr. & Cicely on 18 Jul,1592.Bridget b. 1570 St .Andrews ,Baxter, Scotland.

These are the sources I am using: "Burke's Prominent Families in Amer. with British Ancestry"  (FHL#973 D2pf) pg. 2665.  Re: Anjou Report

I notice that this has already been added as a possible source by someone else, and given the fact that the Burke's publications are known to be problematic, I wouldn't given it any greater prominence or use it to confirm details any further.

I did a search on ScotlandsPeople for the surname Tilney and variants and there appear to be no records at all for that surname in the baptism, and marriage church records databases.
