William Henry Putnam (1823 - 1897) Was confused with William Russell Putnam (1821 - 1901)

We have untangled the two men’s profiles and sourced them appropriately. The civil war record is believed to belong to William R. Putnam. The son of Israel Putnam. Also William Henry Putnam and his brother Hiram married the two Bryant sisters.

Any help with connecting the William R. Putnam to his parents would be appreciated.

Thank you

Thank you Marion this helped in parental lineage now trying to source parents and this family. Both William Putnams were confused with each other and I’m confident. William R. Putnam not William H. Putnam is the Civil War Veteran
It’s difficult to read but occupation seems to be in “Leather Manufactory”? Per census reports
Your awesome Marion!
