5th cousin 4x removed by blood to Samuel F.B. Morse.  This doesn't surprise me because I knew I had a bunch of Morses on my tree.

I am a 6th Cousin to Samuel Morse!  Susanna Riddlesdale (1584-1658) is my 12x GG Grandmother and Samuel's 5x GG Grandmother.   Now that explains why no one understands what I am saying in this century!

Lars Magnus Ericsson, of course - although he is not a blood relation.

I particularly enjoyed this theme, since my parents were telecommunications people - dad spent his whole working life with Swedish Televerket, making improvements to exchange stations and that sort of thing. Mum became a home maker when I arrived, having been a telephonist and telegraphist before. We were most impressed that she was able to "listen off" Morse code.
