With the new look for Category pages, a lowercase alphabetical listing of profiles follows the uppercase listing! I periodically run through the profiles categorized to project categories (such as Category: Magna Carta).
I'm pretty sure that before space pages were listed separately from people profiles (a huge improvement), WikiTree ignored whether or not the initial letter of the person's profile was uppercase or lowercase. So I was surprised to see entries after "Z" - "a", "d" and "f", in the case of the Magna Carta category.
Not complaining - just sharing.
Hmm... maybe it's not universal. I wanted to give an example of "v" and there isn't one! I found profiles starting with both uppercase and lowercase names at https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Category:New_Netherland_Project-Managed&from=V#Persons
Which made me go look for French "l"s ... that I found at https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Category:New_Netherland_Ancestors&from=Z#Persons - along with "v"s! (But du Bois was under "D" in the Estimated Birth Category - accented capital letters followed the A-Z listings there.) And at https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Category:Quebecois_Project&from=Z#Persons you find Z, d, l, and É on a page all together (not even a "Z" heading).
Not sure of the rhyme or reason behind when the headings after "Z" are used (or not) or when a profile beginning with a lowercase letter is listed with those beginning with an uppercase, but just wanted to share with y'all to look for names after the Z too.
Cheers, Liz
edit - changed "medieval" tag to "dutch_cape_colony" ... only 6 tags allowed
edit2 - changed "dutch_cape_colony" to "tech"
