Where have you searched already please?

I have search everywhere possible.  I have been doing my whole family tree for over 12 years and cannot get past him on the Sweet side.  I even got gutsy and wrote letters to his family line after in Canada and of course they don’t answer back; why would they, they don’t know me.  I even paid a Genealogist in Oklahoma 11 years ago to help me and they came to a dead end also.
Does that include Ancestry and Findmypast?

In 1800, living close by John are Caleb Sweet and Thomas Sweet. They appear to be the sons of Caleb Sweet born about 1732, died in Saratoga 1831. Caleb senior, born in Rhode Island, was a Colonel in the American Revolution and received several grants of land in Saratoga after the war. His wife was Isabelle. There is a gravestone
