What to do with a profile with absolutely no information but a name?

Came across this profile while looking at similar profiles of another. This profile started off with information and some connections but has since been stripped of any information or relationships whatsoever other than the name. Should it be absorbed into another profile?

If you check the original data for Roe-2089, you will see that the profiled individual was James Edward Roe, born in 1853 and died in 1950.

In my opinion, you should restore the original data, returning the profile to its intended person.

If you choose to restore the original profile, you can find additional records attached to his FamilySearch.org profile: KN3C-3ND ;

and perhaps additional useful information on his Findagrave.com memorial: 34452014 .

You should also (maybe do this first) check for duplicates for James Edward Roe, 1853-1950.

edit: found 1 duplicate: Roe-2382

Oops, I was looking at siblings rather than offspring of Isom Roe.  Roe-2382 he should be.  Thanks Lindy.

He is probably a duplicate of Roe-262 (same given name, same father originally connected).  I would merge them.

If you adopt Roe-2089 first, you can help move the merge process along.
