Looking for David or Daniel Mullin in 1800's PA

Need info about David or Daniel Mullin in PA in last half of 1800's. Wife was Catharine, son James.

Lived in Schuylkill county and was born sometime in early 1800's but we don't know where.  Catharine was married before and last name was Geary when she married David or Daniel Mullin.  Don't know much about her either.  They had a son named James who was born mid 1800's & he died in an accident at Gordon Plane in Schuylkill Co.1900 or 1901 leaving a widonw, Lucy (Lucinda) and two sons, Charles & Harvey.  Can't find burial places for James, Lucy or David but did find Catharine's in Pine Grove.  Charles was my grandfather and we know where Harvey is buried.  None of the ones you supplied could be the correct David or Daniel as they are too young.

That is the correct Catharine Mullin and she would have been married and widowed twice.  Geary died about 1853-1857 and she remarried David or Daniel.  In 1870 the youngest Geary child was 17 and James Mullin, my great-grandfather was 13.  So in the 4 years between their births, Geary died and she remarried.  Have no death date for David or Daniel Mullin but he doesn't show up in 1870 census.  They would have lived near or in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania.

I see many records for people who might fit the description above.  Is there any chance you can help the search by clarifying a couple of things?  Any hints will help narrow down the right person.  The more details the more sure it becomes.

Do you know what part of PA?  Any dates such as birth or any one of them or death of anyone, and where?  Middle initials?  Catharine's maiden name?

Share what you are able.... I hope we can help!

We have uncovered more information about the Mullins but still can find nothing regarding David Mullin.  He was married to Catharine (Minnich) Geary Mullin.  Catharine was the daughter of Daniel Minnich and Elizabeth Fessler.  Her family was from North Manheim Twp and then lived in Cressona.  She married Charles Geary first and after his death, in 1853, she married David Mullin.  David died between 1861 and 1864.  We suspect he was buried in the Cressona Cemetery but they have very poor records.  They don't have record of ancestors we know are buried there (determined by death certificates and a lot receipt).  Catharine and David had three children, James (1857), Esther (1859) and Anna E (1861).  James married Melissa Bernheisel and then Lucy Dillman.  Anna married William H Krammes, We don't what happened to Esther after the 1880 census, when she was working as a servant.  David is in the 1860 census with Catharine. They lived in Cressona.  David's age appears to be 34 and he was a farmer.  They are listed as "Millers" but we know they are Mullins.  We can't f'ind David in the 1850 census without more identifying information and in the 1840 census it would have only listed his father, most likely.  We have no idea who is family of origin is, where he came from, when he was born, or when he died.  Catharine was a member of the Cressona Methodist Church in the early 1860's, presumably after David's death. She also lived in Pottsville after his death.

Any thoughts on how we might find out a birth, death or marriage record for David or any information regarding his birth or death would be greatly appreciated.
I'm wondering if this is still an active thread, as I am working on researching the same family and am curious as to who started this thread.
Still works :)

He was born about 1825-1835.  Catharine was born about that time also so this is an assumption.
