Hi Janet. FYI. The “source-a-thon” tag is listed instead of the “clean-a-thon” tag and so this chat is not showing up in the “clean-a-thon” tag feed with the other Clean-a-Thon chats.
Thanks Tommy, appreciate the heads up
If you enjoy the Clean a thon then please consider joining the https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1164496/join-the-data-doctors-project-and-become-data-doctor-in-2021?

You may have seen this great site: https://forest-of-dean.net/joomla/index.php/resources/parish-records

New parish records keep being added- most recently Berkeley, Coaley and now Wotton under Edge

Hi Janet! I signed up 6 days ago with the Mighty Oaks! I plan to work in Cornwall  and Devon again, and maybe Buckinghamshire. I have not received my badge as yet. Is Eowyn overwhelmed?

Can you please list me with the above Cornwall, Devon and Bucks locations! I'm so looking forward to this 'thon' with my England Team mates!
by Carol Baldwin G2G Astronaut (1.2m points)

Hi Carol

Will add info to our member list. Thanks There are no bibs or numbers for this thon, not sure anyone has the "badge" yet it will appear nearer the time of the Thon.

Good to know you are looking forward to the event. If you haven't joined the Data Doctor project then do consider joining the main project /join-the-data-doctors-project-and-become-data-doctor-in-2021 then we can get you listed on the England DD Team

Hi Janet,

I have been a 'Data Doctor' for over a year. I just tried accessing Mighty Oaks Team Page  and am told the Error 404 Page Is Not Found!? Are we having problems?

Janet, what is the link for the Mighty Oaks CAT 2021? I want to check on the Cornwall/Devon posting! Thanks!
Try this one

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Mighty_Oaks

When you get the 404 message if you remove the 2% stuff at the end and refresh that generally clears the 404 error
Hi Janet, just an FYI. For whatever reason, I have been getting emails specific to me requesting that I 'sign up' for the thon. Given this most recent post from you, I will just nuke these emails as you have assured me that I am signed up and the link that you provided confirms that I am signed on for the Clean-a-thon. Thank you so much for your support and patience!
Your welcome Carol

I'll be putzing around in Cornwall, starting with my watchlist and moving around St Just in Penwith and the surrounding parishes.

HI Janet,

I've put my hand in the air over on the registration page, hopefully I'm just about in time to sneak in as the door closes.  I wasn't sure if I'd be able to take part this time around, so I kept putting it off; but it looks like all is a-o-k and I can dig in over the weekend. :)

I'll mosey around in Lancs and the West Riding with a bit of Cheshire chucked in… I know there's plenty to keep us all busy.

All the best to everyone!

Yesterday I worked on 677 (Ambiguous marriage location) for Sussex, and they are all cleared now.

Today I'll concentrate on 647 (Ambiguous death location) for Sussex, there are just over 200 of those to clear.

And then I will move onto 617 (Ambiguous birth location) for Sussex.

To run these reports just replace Sussex (in the text box) with your chosen county, and then press the blue 'Find Suggestions' button. All you have to do to clear them is add 'England' to each location. They are really quite easy to clear, so I'm hoping some of you might join me today and clear other counties.

Carol you are brilliant

I am working on the same suggestion in Lancashire currently

The sheer numbers in Dorset are worrying, simple to fix, but Dorset is going to take a lot of work.

Thanks for highlighting these
I agree, Janet, Dorset looks horrendous. There are over 6,500 of the 617 ambiguous birth locations for that county, and Yorkshire has over 6,000 as well and these are just the  orphaned profiles. I don't know whether these new location suggestions will ever be rolled out to profiles with managers, imagine the impact that will have!
Hi Carol

I spent Friday afternoon and evening working through the location suggestions for Sussex and cleared a huge number. Once I started 'bumping into' you I moved on to Kent and will focus there for the rest of the 'Thon.

Corina
Thanks Corina, I think between us we will get Sussex locations sorted, I've added links to the start of this post to show what I'm working on, they may help with Kent locations. But I've just looked at the main Kent suggestions list, there are 702 '677' suggestions. They should keep you busy, along with all the 617's and 647's.
