A Notable from Iceland

Here I thought Icelanders  got very excited about genealogy. But Halldor Laxness, who won a Nobel Prize for Literature,  has a pretty sparse profile,  mostly a link to a Wikipedia article. He doesn't even have any parents. Anybody want to improve his profile? I can't even add his Wikitree ID because that letter in his name isn't on my keyboard.

Next to his name, in pale green, are a pair of scissors and the phrase ID/LINK/URL.  That's what I used.
Thank you! I never knew what those little scissors were for.

I can add the parents and connect him to the tree, but I'm not very good at writing profiles.

Can somebody help with that?

For the letters like (Þþ or Ðð áéíóú) I use the us-international keyboard layout. There is a good article about it here. It is extremely useful for Icelandic, Spanish, German, most all European languages.
