John Sidney Williams had two daughters Iris Mary Madeline Taylor (Born 1937) and Valerie Williams (unknown date). He was a Dock labourer. All my information has him and his family in Stepney, London.

Iris was born in 2nd Qtr 1937 in SOUTHWARK (Greater) LONDON.  Her mother's maiden name was HILL. Valerie A. Williams was born in 3rd Qtr 1944 in Southwark.

Is there another sister Lilian D. born in 1935  and/or  Gladys J. in 1931 ?

Is John's wife's name Lily E. Hill ?

Johns was born about 1898 as he was about 3 in the 1901 census

John Sydney Williams was born around 1998 he married Selina Mary Hill in 1917.

There were 8 children all together Albert S 1920, Victor G 1922, Gladys J 1931, Lilian D 1935, Irene E1924 , Selina M 1927, Iris MM 1937 and Valerie A 1944.

Hi Kevin, the children you list are correct, there were three more sisters Irene E 1924 , Selina M 1927 and  Valerie A 1944; as well as two brothers Albert S 1920, Victor G 1922. The only name that is different is John's wife's name Selina Mary Hill rather than Lily E. Hill. I think I have found marriages for two of the children  Selina Williams married Charles T Young and Albert S Williams marries Eveline Bowers. These are not certain just possibles. I can't find any trace of them in Southwark after about the 1960s when the area they lived in was cleared. I would have thought that the Council would have re-housed them fairly close by the old address, which they have lived in for generations.
