Advice before editing this pre-1700 Wadsworth profile?

Question

I have information to contribute to the profile of Abigail (Wadsworth) Tomson. This is what I can add:

• Abigail is shown as father and Jacob as mother

These are the sources I am using:

• Obvious change 

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Hi Jean. Maybe I'm missing your point, but when I go to the Edit tab for the Wadsworth-355 profile and look in the right hand column, it has John (not Jacob) Wadsworth as father and Abigail (Andrews) Wadsworth as mother. (Jacob Tomson was the younger Abigail's husband.) Are you sure there's a problem, and if so could you please explain in more detail?

Hi Jean. I am one of the managers for this profile. I'd certainly like to help, but I don't see an issue with the parents of Abigail (Wadsworth) Tomson, or with those of her children. Please elaborate.

Thanks so much everyone for your assistance. As I look back over all my info, I can’t see what I was talking about. I’m thinking I might have been comparing Abigail to another Abigail and was confused there.

I work on much of my trees in the evening, and I think I was confused. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience I might have caused anyone.
