Advice before editing this pre-1700 Grant profile?

Question

I have information to contribute to the profile of William Grant. This is what I can add:

• Baptism record
• Marriage record - to Elizabeth Tizzard
• Birth of 5 children to this marriage: Mary, Vine, Gould, Betty and George
• Burial record for William

These are the sources I am using:

• Family Search

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

If by "FamilySearch" you mean original records or transcriptions of original records hosted there, then those are okay. If you mean a tree, that is not an acceptable source for a pre-1700 profile.
