I know there is a FamilySearch Wiki for figuring out what all the numbers mean, but it is no help for deciphering the service information in the first line. I can see that he held the rank of Private, enlisted on 4 September 1918, was discharged on 4 February 1919. What does 'Bat F 70 FA' translate to?
