Thanks for the info on Gerrit Rutten, but I didn't find a relationship with him as my ancestor yet, but that may happen in the near future.

Aah thank you Jan and everyone, Jan I got distracted, but was looking in Amersfoort, according records that's probably where the family originally came from and did find a family there where the name Gerrit Rutten (Ruts, Rutgersz) might have come from..so not sure if or how but it looked like perhaps these were deeper ancestors of the Gerrit Rutten that emigrated..clean-a-thon now, but will check for more as soon as I have a spare moment again..
