Eddie Woeckener was perhaps the most prominent circus bandmaster of the first half of the twentieth century. His fascinating story includes marriages to eight different women - most connected to the circus in one way or another. I've been working on fleshing out the bios of these eight women, but my resources are about tapped out. I welcome additional eyes from anyone with an interest in circus history. His siblings could also use a little more work, including brother Anton who, at age 16, married Chiquita, the world's smallest woman.
