Where can i find owners between 1940 and 1946 of the company Imperial Taxi, Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada ?

Someone in my family thinks this taxi company was in the family around 1944/45, maybe somewhere they have a record of all taxi permit issues, any help would be appreciated

I did a quick search in archived newspapers in BANQ and found some interesting results about this company for the years mentioned.

In Le Devoir of 14 septembre 1944 the owner was Léo Tardif (https://collections.banq.qc.ca/ark:/52327/2805364)

In Le Nouvelliste of 15 août 195, B. Rivard was the owner in an advertisement (https://collections.banq.qc.ca/ark:/52327/3214034)

See at https://numerique.banq.qc.ca/, you can filter the results by section like "Patrimoine québécois / Revue et journaux" and years. You also might be able to find obituaries for your family members.
