No, she's of direct french descent from regions of Anjou, Brittany, or Champagne.  Sauvageau is Old French nickname from the latin Silvaticus originally for something wild of the forest later becoming the old French and Breton word for a graftable tree stock. The family was originally spread through both Latin, Gallo, and Breton speaking regions- those languages were mostly suppressed post Frankish take over. It is possible that she has native American ancestry along a previous maternal offshoot but that is not what the last name denotes.
