Is there is a project for the name Bonneville/Bonnevialle?

First,  this is my first attempt at a pre 1700 profile, so if I'm going about this the wrong way please let me know.

I would like to add profiles for Jean Bonneville c 1675 - 1725 at Broquies, Aveyron and his wife Jeanne Blanc.

Hello Rick - Well, you were smart to ask first :)

Steps to creating pre-1700 profiles

So it looks like you are certified and you can proceed, with caution.   I  searched both spellings and hit the variants ... but being that old the spellings can really be endless.   I do not see a match so far.   I see other Bonneville profiles from France in that era (It being a small country) , I would collaborate with Marcoux-100,  Poncy-1 and Côté-1393 for help with any possible matches for variants and duplicates and 2 of them have created many profiles as well.   I would also be happy to review it for you once done for style errors :) Just ask !

Oh and add Bonneville to you question above and your profile for a followed tag.
Thank you very much Loretta.

I have contacted the people you mentioned and it looks ok to move ahead for my Bonneville line.

Just a matter of clarification, is this required for every new profile that I create pre-1700?  Since each generation has a  new surnames it would require a new check for projects for those names ?

Maybe it would be better to ask in one request to check for all the surnames that I anticipate adding ?
Hi Loretta,  I have created the profile for Jean Bonneville if you'd like to have a look and let me know if there is anything that needs to be changed.

I am sorry Rick I just seen this...my computer started sending Wikitree stuff to spam somehow.  Thanks Julien for jumping in.

Hello Rick,

I am not sure that Bonneville is the best choice of a LNAB. The baptism of Jacques has Bonaviale for him and Bonnaviale for his father, his marriage has Bonnevialle. The name Bonnevialle and its variants is quite specific to Aveyron, and it is more common there than Bonneville.

Also, the place where he lived should be named before 1790 "Broquiès, Rouergue, France", or maybe "Broquiès, Rouergue, Guyenne, France", rather than "Broquiès, Aveyron, Midi-Pyrénées, France" (which was really valid only between 1956 and 2015).

You are absolutely correct Julien.  I have made the corrections.

Thank you very much for putting me on the correct path.
