Abraham Lincoln has sprung up tons of gedcom clones yet again.

I should have made myself more clear. Almost all his descendants are doubled or tripled now.

Oh, ok. Those are probably not new imports. More likely it's just that the last time a duplicate Abraham Lincoln was merged, the children were not. People don't always do the whole family line at the same time.

I am assuming most of the duplicates start appearing with Lincoln's grandchildren. As part of cleaning up the profiles Lincoln's parents, siblings and children had all their duplicates addressed. We had to make a choice where to stop otherwise this would just expand indefinately. It has always been my hope that after the work has been done to the primary profiles that time would be put aside to addressing initiating these descendant merges. I also think this would be a great place for those of use who are part of the new Arborist group to begin working as there are ready made duplicates being generated by all the groups, which the arborists could come in and work on beyond the scope of the original initiating group.

I merged the couple duplicates there were of his children just a few hours ago. I started on the grandchildren, but there are still a couple left. There are also some erroneous descendants.
