Here is something - maybe I know it's a birth in 1918 not a death in 1918 but maybe it will help!

Full Names Surname Date of Birth Spouse More Information

Another possible clue:

5935 Estate 1989 Bosch Harold Arthur Death 06-Dec-1987 surviving / spouse Marjorie Sarah

I know these aren't from 1918 but maybe it will help.

Also two possible death dates, sometimes these aren't correct death dates but give a guideline:

HARRY BOSCH 14/10/2009 [d] Masters Database REGISTER TO VIEW
HARRY BOSCH 09 Mar 1996 [d] Maseti Database REGISTER TO VIEW
I’ve come across all these, but unfortunately none of them are any related matches. I’m now trying to find the parents of SCJ Bosch and once I’ve located them, I can work backwards. I’m hoping someone can find them. I’ve spoken to his (SCJ Bosch ) grandson, but unfortunately it seems he too has the same details I have which is wrong.

I’ve added a photo to his profile in the hope that someone will recognise him amongst their family photos:)
So what I have been doing is looking up the people with the SJC name and other similar names to what you have and then linking them to a family which then, in turn, may or may not link into the main tree. Also, I went to the top of the tree and went a few people down and saw if there were any more family that had missing info or children to add which gives more documents. I found it very helpful in the past for myself to look up all the people with the same name or similar names to what I was researching and for each of those names linking all the profiles. In FamilySearch they often give more suggestions on the profiles as you fill in the details which will help. I found a few people the first names Hendrick Lourens which could indicate a family link. I suggest trying that technique to try get a better handle on it.
That’s a really good tip, thank you. I haven’t thought about linking records in Family search. I have noticed that a few records link to others and found it very helpful.

Isn’t there another way we can locate birth/marriage records other than Family search?

1) http://gendatabase.com

2) http://identitynumber.org

3) old NAAIRS search - http://www.national.archsrch.gov.za/sm300cv/smws/sm300dl

4) new NAAIRS search - http://www.nationalarchives.gov.za/node/737

5) http://e-family.co.za

6) http://eggsa.org

7) http://ancestor.co.za

8) http://www.historicalpapers.wits.ac.za - I found a few of my family's records here before. FamilySearch has some of them indexed but without linked images.

9) www.1820settlers.com - lots of info beyond 1820 e.g.

9a) https://www.1820settlers.com/genealogy/settlermarrs.php

9b) https://www.1820settlers.com/genealogy/settlermbapt.php

9c) https://www.1820settlers.com/genealogy/settlerabapt.php

There are other places probably too
Great resources, thank you!
I have found SJC Bosch's gravestone in West Park Cemetery (his civil death notice says he was buried there), they made a mistake on the gravestone and put a star which normally indicates birth next to his death date. On the same gravestone is his wife JM Bosch but they list her death date as January not March as you had as her death date. The gravestones sometimes have mistakes so if you have her death certificate or something else to indicate an alternate death then maybe you can let us know. Thanks.
I only have the personal family tree records that shows she was born on the 8th of January 1889 and died on the 23rd of March 1969. Now these dates could be wrong as I found out when I discovered the actual documents of other family members. Unfortunately I have not been able to find anything on MJ other than their marriage certificate to SCJ and a few baptism records.
