Her parents couldn’t agree on a name?  Her father had the hyphenated name, so perhaps they were honoring both of his  family lines as well as her mother’s.

And for those who are wondering, here’s her id: Willoughby-Wade-1
Both my children have three forenames -- and it wasn't because we couldn't decide.  We wanted a name that was just theirs, then we honoured both sides of the family.  Now, of course, as happens, they are  also know by several nicknames as well.
Welcome to WikiTree, Peter. You have come to what I think is the best place on the internet to work together to form one large tree. Be sure to let your Greeter know if you have any questions about how to upgrade.

I'm going to add some tags to your post to get the attention of others who are interested in those families.

I look forward to seeing your twig grow within the branches of WikiTree.

After a search today Ada Maud Rice Whitehead was the wife of Alfred North Whitehead who was born in Ramsgate (1861) died (1947, Cambridge, Massachusetts).

Ada Maud Rice née Willoughby-Wade was born in Honfleur, Calvados France.

Thankyou for your work on this subject, yet I would like to know more about the Willoughby-Wades in Ireland, if this is possible.
