i cant seem to find any pictures of my moms dad my grand father.will john griffin ..he was born in 1896 in robenson county nc to a mary griffin,he died in columbus county nc in 1943,my mom was just barely walking good.she was born in 1943.i just had his head stone placed at porterswamp cem in cerro gordo columbus county.he layed there 71 years waiting for a stonemy wife and i made that happen.we took all his military records and filled out the app for gov head stone and it came in 5 months later.now i would love if any body has and pictures of griffins from robenson or columbus county to please share  thanks so much   randy   mt email is randy_maness@yahoo.com

Maybe this can be of some help, they have several sites that can be access thru that site. I don't know much about the sites but if there is a photo of John Griffin I will try to look myself on ancestry.com. And I will get back to you. Thanks Nancy
