need help on paternal great-greatgrandparents and paternal grandmother

Paternal greatgrandfather George Richnow, born Berlin 11-11-1864...died Houston, TX 5-28-1924 also lived in Ricesdorf, germany....brothers Paul and Edward, sister Marie Barnak-------wife Clara Benedict, born Austria 12-12-1861...died Houston, TX 2-5-1936 Her father Paul Benedict. George and my grandfather emigrated to America Ellis Island 8-9-1892. paternal grandmother Hattie Schindler married William Richnow (i have no info on her but believe she was born USA although she spoke fluent german)

Where were William and Hattie married? That is the best place to start. Try to find other Schindlers married in the same church or courthouse. Look for Schindlers living in the same county during the census before their wedding date. Even if those Schindlers end up not being related to her, the information you have on them will help you narrow in on her.

From familysearch.org.  Hattie Schindler in 1910 is living in Galveston with parents Emile and Freda.  In 1920 she is living in Galveston with grandfather George Richnow.  So this may possibly mean that Freda Schindler, mother of Hattie, was born a Richnow.

Or is this a different Hattie?

Hattie (Hedwig) Schindler was my great-grandmother and was born in Weimar, TX Oct 18, 1885.  She married William Paul Richnow, and they lived in Galveston, TX for part of their married life.  Hattie spoke German and fluent Bohemian.
